Resolution Performance Products has developed enhanced glycidation capabilities for its Epon and Epokite epoxy resins, as well as its Heloxy epoxy modifiers, in the U.S. and Europe.
“The new and improved technology results in processing advances, which will increase production efficiency, improve yields and allow for faster introduction of new specialty epoxy products for the coatings, electronics and civil engineering markets,” said Resolution’s specialty products business manager, Dave Woodcock.
Resolution Performance Products’ worldwide capacity for high performance epoxy resins and epoxy modifiers will be expanded by 10 kilotons per year when fully completed. The U.S. enhancements came on stream in February, while the European enhancements are scheduled to come on stream this month.
